Summer Exhibition 2018
Richard was delighted to have his drypoint work 'The Secret' on show at the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly.
Richard is honoured to now have five of his drypoints in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum: Breton Boat, Feisty Firecrest, Fox, Fritillaria and To the Lighthouse.
Royal Academy Art Sales
Richard was proud to exhibit two works in the 'Painter Printmakers' exhibition in the Keeper's House at the Royal Academy in 2015. The show explored how printmaking feeds into painting and vice versa, giving insight into the creative process. 'Feisty Firecrest' and 'Japanese Orchid' are available to purchase at Royal Academy Art Sales.
More Public Collections hold Richard Spare works
Blue Tit and Snowy Owl have been accepted into the permanent collection of the Chelmsford Museum. Richard is delighted to have his work represented in this beautiful museum in the town of his birth. Puffin Pair and Night Owl feature in Maidstone Museum's collection; a floral drypoint, Cyclamen, in the collection at Leeds Art Gallery, and Richard is delighted that more floral works are to be shown in hospitals and therapy centres, through the Imperial Health Charity (Iris Spring, Spring Morning and Morning Tulips) and Art in Healthcare (Daisy Basket, Thirsty Periwinkles and Canary).
Bird of Paradise is shortly to be included in the permanent collection of the British Library.

RA Tote Bag
The Royal Academy have produced a tote bag emblazoned with Richard's image ‘Bright Robin’, which is on sale in the prestigious RA shop in Piccadilly.
Richard is also delighted to have been approached by Bridgeman Copyright who represent the world’s major museums and artist’s estates. Bridgeman now represent him through their offices in London, Paris, New York and Berlin, clearing copyright and reproduction rights on his behalf.
INCLUSION IN V&A PERMANENT COLLECTION
Following his very successful tour of 28 solo shows of his work across Japan last November, Richard is honoured to have had five of his drypoint prints accepted into the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
He is also delighted that his recent drypoint, 'The Secret', was selected for inclusion in the 2018 Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly.
